Message	I think the darkened strip helps visually balance the front by camouflaging the very narrow intake opening (the intake mouth is afterall dark in color). The mirror "triangles" are darkened because they resolve the intersection of the upper and lower window lines just in front of the side mirrors. My only problem with this is that it makes the mirrors look like they sprout from the glass. If anything, I'd think about painting the mirrors black, but that would be a tough decision. There was a Z32 that was painted LeMans sunset had blackened mirrors and I thought they looked great. much love for Cherry Red Pearl. My CarDomain page
